Royal Enfield is launching a major motorcycle offensive this year, expanding its 350cc, 450cc, and 650cc offerings. They aim to dominate the classic motorcycle market with a wider range of bikes.

Revamped Classic 350

The popular Classic 350 gets its first major update since switching to the new J-series engine. This update brought new switchgear and instruments.

While major functional upgrades are unlikely, expect some nice-to-have features like LED lights, alloy wheels, and tubeless tires. These updates will also be added to other 350cc bikes like Hunter 350, Meteor 350, and Bullet 350 later.

Royal Enfield Aims to Up Classic Game

Competitors offer more features for the same price as the Classic 350, including dual exhausts, a more powerful engine, a slipper clutch, and USD forks. Royal Enfield should consider adding more features to stay competitive.

Introducing the Classic 650

Royal Enfield will launch the all-new Classic 650 this year, hoping to replicate the Classic 350’s success in the middleweight segment. The Classic 650 will slot between the Interceptor 650 and the Super Meteor 650/Shotgun 650.

Classic Looks, Modern Touches

Classic 650 prototypes show a familiar silhouette as the Classic 350, but bigger to fit the larger engine. It will likely use conventional telescopic forks instead of USD forks and a standard instrument cluster instead of the Tripper Dash.

Proven Performance

The Classic 650 will use the same 648cc parallel-twin engine found in other Royal Enfield 650s, producing around 45 horsepower and 52 Nm of torque. It will also have a 6-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch.

Royal Enfield’s classic motorcycle lineup is getting a major refresh with an updated Classic 350 and the introduction of the all-new Classic 650. These bikes aim to maintain Royal Enfield’s dominance in the classic motorcycle market while offering some modern touches.
